Hello & THANK YOU to everyone who has stopped by to read this journal entry. I have an issue, feel free to comment or not. It has been 2-3yrs battleing with this issue I am about to announce & need to clear the air. I understand there may be "a lot" of you out there be it friends or passer-bys that simply want to stay away from drama or "not get involved" I am ok with that, I understand & respect your desicion. For those of you that have private advice & wish to talk with me in private please PM otherwise the floor is yours. For those of you that I am talking about well, im sure you'll comment here regardless..so be it.

{MY SIDE}
Let me start with that I have been a dA member since 2003/2004. I started off many many years ago. I know & completely understand & respect artists. I understand the pain you feel when you discover someone has stolen your art, I understand even more so the frustration when they( the art theives) may mimic or mirror your work, drawing very similar to your original piece or character. I have undergone this, & seen far too many of my friends go through this all too often. I WOULD NEVER cause even my own worst enemy this dismay. I hate when it happens to me & I would NEVER do this to another. period!!

Althou it would seem I am & have been accused for doing so.
When i first opened my account (dreadful phantom) & started identifying myself through different characters based off of my own emotions I had created a girl called myzaree. She was to resemble the pain, & depression in my life. She has a backstory or history similar to my own. I feel as artsists alot of us have done this. I also had other characters; 1 displaying my childhood abuse, 1 displaying my drug abuse, and so forth. But myzaree was the character that i was accused of stealing.
She is gothic with pale skin & long stringy black hair, a very commonly drawn character not to complicated but unique to me. Sadly it was her name that drew the negative attention & where i was accused of being a theif. Apparently there is a girl in real life called myzaree, the one i am about to talk about for the first time in years. I was confronted by this girl called myzaree , rather then contacting me privately & discussing this issue she had with me in a mature manner, she announced it to her whole fan base in her journal [link] that I had created a character based off of her, & that looked just like her & posted a link to my gallery & photos.

I tried to behave maturely & contact her only throught PM's & explained to her that this was all a misunderstanding. Perhaps if i never named my character myzaree or spelt it differently like myzahree or misery.. or even something entirely different i wouldnt get this sort of backlash. What OFFENDS me most is the fact that I have been accused of making the character look like her in a personal means, as if i somehow found her online & drew pictures of her on purpose, how creepy is that? stalker much? NO, not me.

I am a very very VERY busy person & I would not waste my time drawing anything for anyone unless that person was dear to me, & even then there are many of my friends here on dA I have not "honored" with such worship?wtf?!? MYZAREE IS SIMPLY A FICTIONAL CHARACTER NOT BASED OFF OF ANYONE! PERIOD! get over yourself!! She was only a character i drew when i felt miserable & depressed which was all to often at one time. Now it has just gotten rediculous, i am being rediculed & attacked by her contacts/friends/fans..whatever you want to call them because they truly believe that one day i decided to wake up & draw a character based off of this girl. WTF? This is getting really old & would not be a problem if a certain "SOMEONE" would get off their high horse & realize not EVERYONE adores her. I never even heard of this girl until after the fact...I am not scene, I am not in the loop. I eat-sleep-draw-post-repeat. I do not have time for such b*llsh!t.

REGARDLESS...
as i stated before i respect peoples art & would never do this! SO it really pisses me off when im being accused of it. I have not posted this well delayed journal entry as i should have so many years because i ignored the flames, & pms, & rude remarks. I TRIED to be the better person & leave it alone, resolve the issue with her in a mature manner but now when it follows me over to my new account then thats it!! Im not renaming my character, & even if i did it probably wouldnt make a difference. Im not even sure what to do, all i know is im pretty f*cking fed up with this & how it continues to go on when im not even posting pics of my art anymore.

ALL i have to say is your not that special myzaree, not to me. And i do not draw my art for you. Get over yourself & find someone else to taunt. Stop feeding off of this negative attention & grow up. Your misleading people, not everyone loves you..certainly not me!!

Enemies..im sure you'll speak your mind. but know this.. YOUR VOICE will fall on deaf ears. I have made my piece. I KNOW Im not wrong & I will bend for noone on this topic.
